We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Telesales Officer

Location: Ogba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive and persuasive Telesales Officer to drive phone-based sales by responding to customer inquiries and initiating contact with prospective clients.
  • A key requirement for this role is the ability to fluently speak at least two major Nigerian languages (e.g., Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, etc.) to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to potential customers and handle inbound inquiries professionally.
  • Present, promote, and sell products/services over the phone.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
  • Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
  • Accurately update and manage customer records in the CRM system.
  • Handle customer objections and complaints with patience and professionalism.
  • Report feedback from customers and suggest improvements to sales strategy.

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE / OND; a degree is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in telesales or any customer-facing sales role.
  • Fluency in at least two (2) major Nigerian languages is mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.
  • Comfortable working with sales targets and under pressure.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, CRM systems, etc.)

Preferred Languages:
Candidates who can fluently speak any two of the following will be prioritised:

  • Yoruba
  • Igbo
  • Hausa

Salary

  • Salary: N150,000 – N250,000 Monthly.
  • Attractive salary with commission and performance-based bonuses.
