🔧 Job Description
Join the operational backbone of Dangote’s supply chain. As a HEMM Operator, you’ll play a vital role in the transportation of raw materials, industrial products, and logistics support for large-scale manufacturing.
You will be responsible for safe operation, route efficiency, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with all operational and environmental safety standards.
📌 Key Responsibilities

Operate HEMMs (Dozers, Dumpers, Heavy Trucks) efficiently, adhering to safety regulations and road policies

Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections, identifying any mechanical or safety issues

Ensure accurate documentation of fuel usage, vehicle logs, and material delivery records

Transport materials/products to designated areas using mapped, fuel-optimized driving routes
-
Coordinate scheduled vehicle servicing and preventive maintenance
-
Assist with basic maintenance and cleanliness of assigned vehicles
-
Participate in mandatory safety and compliance training

Immediately report all incidents, hazards, and mechanical faults to the operations supervisor
🎓 Requirements & Qualifications

✅ Valid Class H Driving License (Required for industrial vehicle operations)

✅ SSCE / WAEC / GCE with 8+ years experience OR
-
✅ Trade Test II + 16 years experience

✅ National Diploma (ND) holders also accepted

✅ Trade Test I with 8+ years of technical driving experience

✅ Strong attention to detail, patience, and situational awareness

✅ Good verbal communication and reporting skills

✅ Ability to work under pressure and within a team-driven environment
