🛠️ Job Summary

As an Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electronic and control systems that power our state-of-the-art cement production lines. You’ll work closely with electrical engineers and process supervisors to ensure the accuracy, safety, and efficiency of instrumentation systems used in operations.

This position is ideal for those with a passion for electronic systems, automated machinery, and industrial instrumentation.


📌 Key Responsibilities

  • Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation and control systems used in industrial processes.

  • Troubleshoot faulty control loops, sensor systems, and automation equipment to restore optimal performance.

  • Conduct regular inspections and provide proactive maintenance reports and repair recommendations.

  • Maintain accurate logs of instrument calibration and diagnostic results.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to upgrade or redesign instrumentation systems for process optimization.

  • Mentor junior staff on best practices in instrumentation handling and safety compliance.

  • Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and ensure full compliance with occupational safety standards.

  • Execute other related tasks as directed by supervisors or plant engineers.


🎓 Qualifications & Work Experience

  • 🎓 OND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field

  • 🛠️ 2 – 5 years of experience in industrial instrumentation and process control

  • 👷 Experience in manufacturing environments such as cement, oil & gas, power, or FMCG is a plus


🧠 Skills & Core Competencies

  • Deep knowledge of instrument calibration standards, loop checking, and preventive maintenance strategies.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, PLC schematics, and technical documentation.

  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, HMI interfaces, and instrumentation software.

  • Strong analytical thinking with excellent attention to detail.

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
