Job Title: Senior Contract Administrator

Job Summary

  • We are currently seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to play a critical role in supporting our client’s procurement and contract process.
  • The primary objective of this position is to accelerate the contract approval cycle, ensure compliance, and facilitate the timely preparation of award recommendations.

Job Details

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, including purchase orders, service agreements, licensing agreements, and construction contracts.
  • Liaising with other functions to ensure that all contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensuring contracts are clear, concise, and legally sound, protecting the organisation’s interests while minimising risk.
  • Identifying and addressing potential legal and commercial risks in contracts.
  • Monitoring contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Build strong relationships with external suppliers and vendors for this purpose.
  • Managing contract variations, extensions, and terminations in liaison with the relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Graduated with a minimum GPA of Second-Class Lower (2.2)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the end-to-end procurement and contract administration activities.
  • Certifications in any of the following will be an advantage: The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), Nigerian Institute of Purchasing and Supply (NIPS), Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management (CISCM), Six Sigma, or other relevant procurement and supply chain certifications.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret complex contract terms and conditions.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills to handle high-volume workloads.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with any ERP tool
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
