We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Store Clerk
Location: Apapa, Lagos
Job Purpose
- To carry out all operational activities required to keep the store running under the supervision of the store supervisor/officer to ensure that all items in the store are always available in prime condition and detailed.
- Accurate records are kept of all items in stock.
Responsibilities
- Received all stock into the store, tag all the new items and ensure these items are stored correctly in the part of the store designated for them.
- Issue out all stock items to the requesting department for a smooth running of the factory.
- Keep detailed and accurate record of all the stock that goes through the store for record purposes.
- Request for more stock when the number of items available in stock is lower than the recommended minimum stock level ( Monitor and manage stock re-order levels).
- Ensure that environment in and around the store is kept very clean at all times to avoid environmental hazards.
- Ensure compliance with QMS /FSMS requirements in the assigned work process.
Qualifications
- 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
- Technical qualification would be an added advantage.
The Person Must:
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be proactive in monitoring stock levels and initiating re-order requests.
- Be physically fit and able to lift or move stock items as required.
- Possess basic numeracy skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
